Position Summary

Wealth8 is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to work with leadership in developing and executing our marketing strategy. As a  marketing professional, this means taking the marketing plan from the strategic – [ i.e. business drivers, problems, positioning, solution messaging, and value propositions], through to tactical operations [ i.e.--- collateral, campaigns, demand & lead generation, PR, etc]. As this would be the lead marketing role for this company, this person has an excellent opportunity to develop the role and 'make it their own' and be involved in global initiatives as the company grows. 

 

The role is a good fit for an experienced Marketing & Comms professional looking for an impactful career move with a fintech with global ambitions. You will need to have a proven history of successful marketing, especially in the verticals of fintech, finance, or wealth management.

Duties & Responsibilities

​•    Lead on marketing/comms strategy and execution
•    Create and manage Wealth8’s digital campaign content and content calendar (utilising Planonly or any other recommended planning tools)
•    Manage social media presence (including advertising/microtargeting via digital ads, designing specific, creative content and copy) 
•    Drive customer acquisition (leads and prospects) and retention
•    Perform analytics to assess the success of digital and marketing campaigns 

•    Implement and maintain tracking solutions (Google suite, firebase, Hotjar, Amplitude, etc.) and report performance against key KPIs to optimise marketing initiatives and conversions

•    Maintain and enhance websites (CMS) and other digital touchpoints (social media, paid social, app store, search)
•    Manage internal process for FCA financial promotion approvals of brand and marketing assets 
•    Produce timely, high-quality copy including financial thought-leadership articles and statements 
•    Interview candidates for features in newsletters and write up Q & A
•    Lead design and facilitation of workshops, events and webinars for community 
•    Produce branded presentations for events and other marketing activity 

Desirable Experience & Skills

•    Minimum 2 years experience in marketing

•    Candidate must have knowledge of financial services, fintech and/or wealth management
•    Demonstrable experience of working in media relations and marketing/communications - preferably including social media marketing and objective-led campaigns
•    Experience designing engaging promotional materials (preferably using platforms such as Canva or InDesign)
•    Excellent writing, editorial skills, and demonstration of experience in writing blog content 
•    Experience in using social media to deliver on business outcomes (including content creation, scheduling, and metrics monitoring)

•    Working with an established martech and analytics stack, including campaign, content management tools and CRMs

•    Experience with the following software/tools: Mailchimp, Zendesk, Hootsuite (or similar tools)

•    Knowledge of driving digital content development, brand communications, and implementation across a range of channels

•    Experience in community development and management
